ASR 43 adapter cable
I finally got around to building my ASR-43 adapter, it seems to work as expected (ie, the reader runs and stops at the right times) but it could use some more testing. Even though I don't have any proof yet, I think the reader might be reading and advancing the tape and just buffering the next character, but I haven't been able to test this yet nor has it caused any problems if it is. You need my reader run modified M8655 (see: http://pdp-8.org/flow.html ) to start with, then it's just special cables. Radio Shack has a little RS-232 patch box I built the two required adapters in.
